Vivi Hendra Sutandar, S.Si., M.Biomed.

Vivi Hendra Sutandar was born in Palembang on January 21st, 1998. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Sriwijaya, in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on microbiology, phytochemistry, and mycology, proceeding to conduct research on the potency of endophytic fungi for her bachelor’s thesis.

While conducting research on endophytic fungi, her interest in secondary metabolites grew, leading her to pursue a Master’s degree. Additionally, she managed several laboratory tasks as a Lab Assistant, focusing on microbiology subjects.

Vivi earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sriwijaya, in 2023. Her research focused on karamunting water extract and its impact on the human body, especially in relation to diabetes mellitus. She also participated in an online Summer Research Program at Tsukuba University, Japan.
